Hello and welcome to Weichmann.org. This website is dedicated to the genealogy of the Weichmann - Kelley family of Western New York and all of its many branches. I have included everything that I have found over the many years of research that I have done. Please use this information as you wish. I have included my original sources wherever possible so you can check all of these sources yourself.

In early 2000 my sister, Lynda, saw a posting on the Ancestry.com Weichmann forum. This posting was from a cousin of mine whom I have never met, Mike Weichmann. A few weeks later, I started this Genealogy research and became hooked. I have met many people and been many places that I would have never met or been to any other way. After years of researching, trying to find those ever elusive facts I have realized that a project like this is never really finished. That is OK because I have also realized that it is not the finish that I am looking for, but it is the journey that is the most fun. Doing this project has made me feel more connected to the Western New York area then I have ever felt before. It forces you to see the larger picture over many generations.

I hope that people can make use of this site. A lot of this information here was very difficult to find and even though I will never be finished I hope that someone out there will, someday, use this research as a base and take it even further then I ever could.
