Grace L. Harrison, enjoyed baseball, bingo and reading

Grace L. Harrison, 78, of Park Street, Arcade, died Sunday, January 6, 2008 at The Pines in Machias.

Born in Sardinia on September 21, 1929, she was a daughter of Clyde and Crystal (Bliton) Rogers. On March 28, 1954 in Arcade, she married Glenford Harrison, who died in 1976.

Mrs. Harrison had worked on the production line at Motorola in Arcade.

She enjoyed baseball, bingo and reading.

She is survived by four children, Randy (Karen) Harrison of Texas, Dawn Harrison of Arcade, Jodi (Mark) Jednat of Sandusky, and Roger Harrison of Arcade; a brother, Doug Rogers of Oregon; four grandchildren, Dylyn and Devin Harrison, and Ryan and Randy Jednat; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by a sister, Claudine Weichmann.

Friends may call Wednesday, January 9, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 W. Main Street, Arcade, where funeral services will be held Thursday, January 10, at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will be in Delevan Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Arcade Free Library.
