KAPANEK - Emily "Millie" (nee Kruszona) November 30, 2009, of Cheektowaga, NY, beloved wife of the late Henry Kapanek; dearest mother of Andrea (Francis) Rybak, Norma Jean (Robert) Burgstahler and Bill (Toni) Kapanek; dear grandmother of Brian (Brenda) Burgstahler, Frankie (Amy) Rybak, Robert Burgstahler, Andrew Burgstahler, Alexis Kapanek, Billy Kapanek Jr., Kyle Kapanek and seven great-grandchildren; predeceased by nine brothers and sisters; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 85 George Urban Blvd., (west of Harlem Rd.), where funeral services will be held on Friday at 9 AM and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 9:30 AM. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Mrs. Kapanek was the operator of Millie's Beauty Salon for over 44 years, a member of Queen of Martyrs Altar and Rosary Society and Cheektowaga Seniors. Memorials may be made to either Hospice Foundation or American Heart Assoc.
