GREAT VALLEY - Gordon D. Bolles, 80, of Great Valley, passed away Tuesday (June 20, 2017) at Cuba Memorial Hospital.

He was born Oct. 8, 1936, in Salamanca. On Jan. 20, 1960, at the American Embassy in Seoul, South Korea he married Mi Jwa Ja Bolles, who predeceased him in 2016.

Mr. Bolles was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

He previously worked at Luminite in Salamanca as a machinist for many years.

Mr. Bolles is survived by a daughter, Sue Ann (Ken) Norton of Great Valley; and two brothers, Don (Rose) Bolles of Geneseo and Steve (Marion) Bolles of Olean.

Besides his loving wife, he is predeceased by a son, Douglas Edward Bolles; and a daughter, Margurite Ann Bolles.

As per Mr. Bolles request, there will be private family services held at a later date. Burial will be in Green Cemetery in Great Valley. Arrangements are under the direction of Mentley Funeral Home Inc. 411 Rock City St. Little Valley.
