Special Recognition of One Hundred Year Old Resident

Genevieve Weichmann was born as Genevieve Kelsch on April 5, 1907 in Albany, New York. She came to Buffalo when she married John H. Weichmann in 1922. Together they had seven children, four boys and three girls. Today, Genevieve has twenty grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. She is a life member of the Bellevue Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was also an active member of the Bellevue Senior Citizens. Genevieve currently resides at the Erie County Home where her great sense of humor is loved and adored by everyone.
