Edwin J. Weichmann of Eagle St., Sandusky died Sunday, December 17, 2017 at his residence at the age of 60.

He was born July 13, 1957 in Lackawanna, NY a son of the late Frederick and Letty Sue (nee Fitzgerald) Weichmann. He was a United States Army Veteran and served from 1975-1979.

He was also self-employed and owned his own business - E & R Foods in Sandusky, NY.

He is survived by his wife - Ruth (nee Barrier) Weichmann whom he married May 22, 1976 in Sandusky; his son - Edwin Weichmann, II of Holland; his grandson - Eddy Weichmann, III; his siblings: Suzanne Leidel of Franklinville, Betty Ann Stroh of Arizona and Frederick (Jennifer Cycon) Weichmann of Freedom; also survived by his mother-in-law: Pearl Barrier of Chaffee; many brothers and sisters-in-law; several nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

There are no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 4:00 PM at the Arcade VFW.
