Hi Tom,
I've just returned from the archives where I located your Claude E.
Hurst in the Auburn State Prison Register of Male inmates received. He
was under Register #43461, recieved October 3, 1929 for Grand Larceny
2nd degree, a 10 year sentance. Date of sentencing was Oct. 1, 1929 in
Wyoming County. He was a white, 32 year old Divorced Mechanic from
Canton NY, 190 pounds 5'9" who could read and write. He was
Discharged "By Commun" on March 25, 1933.
Attached are 2 digital photos I took "on the down low".
