Narrative
Mr. Vandozer and his wife were old people and died at their place at an early
day. He willed the west half of his farm to his grandson, Isaac McWithey, who
sold a strip of about 12 acres off from the west side to Isaac Cutler, Esq., in
November 1789, and the remainder to Russell Smith in August 1795; Mr. Smith
building house on the same, which is now standing, east from John P. Sheldon's.
